  • Higher order networks We are interested in studying how the structure of a network changes the flow of signals (or information in it).
  • Explainable AI for science When using AI for scientific applications in physics, biology or chemistry etc, it is important to develop a formal understanding of exactly what the neural network is learning, and what it’s limitations are.
  • Topological data analysis and topological ML Topology or the study of holes can offer important insight into a system.
